I have had endless conversations about consent but it wasn't until Richard's workshop that I was able to feel into that ever so fragile space before a yes or a no. It was deeply empowering to practice owning my space, owning my "No". It was equally as powerful to think about the times I may not have honored someone else's "No". Ultimately, what Rich is doing in this valuable and necessary space is reminding us of what it means to practice caring for each other as an act of radical love.

I grew so much in the session I attended with Richard Wright. As a Black cis-het male, Richard's facilitation made space for me to be challenged and grow in my understanding and practice around consent, and feel supported and safe while doing it.

I have watched Richard bring his creative talents to a group of over 60 students in Broward County Public Schools when I coordinated a Youth Diversity Summit and employed Rich to join us as a facilitator. Richard brought his in depth knowledge of how to creatively reach young people, showed wonderful depth of respect and self-agency towards the students, and held their attention for long periods of time with his ingenuity and imagination. I appreciate his talent and would love to engage again with his expertise in Florida school districts.
